This weekend Garrett and I went out to celebrate my new job. We ended up going to Joe’s Bar and Grill. It was just the two of us and a random bust of Harry Truman that sat with us at our table.
I forgot my camera so I had to take the pictures with my phone so sorry for the quality! I started dinner with a glass of Pinot grigio. It hit the spot – nice and crisp but not too sweet. I wish I remember who made it!
I ordered the special for dinner. Baked haddock with shrimp that came with a side of vegetables (asparagus) and rice. It was $21.95 and not worth it at all! The fish was good but kinda of plain. The rice was basically white rice with butter and they gave me ONE spear of asparagus for my vegetable! I left the rice and ate the rest. Garrett wasn’t impressed with his meal either.
I don’t think we will be going back. It was over priced and the service was bad. It was a weekend so they were a bit busy but I feel like that is no excuse!

Ugh, sorry about the less than stella meal. I hate when I pay a lot for food and it isn’t great.
oh well. you’ll have to celebrate again somewhere else!!!
